Do you provide wardrobe boxes, blankets, dollies, and tools?
YES! We provide complimentary equipment needed to provide a fast, easy and safe move. We also bring with us billable items such as cardboard boxes, tape, shrink wrap, mattress bags, floor protectors, and more. These items are billed only as they are used, if we do not use anything, there is no materials charge.
What exactly is walk-through?
An estimate is only as comprehensive as it is informed. While we can get a good sense of your move over the phone or with an inventory list via email, there is no substitute for having a crew leader com to the start location and perform an in-home evaluation. We offer virtual walk-throughs as well!
How are estimates calculated?
Our representatives can calculate the load and unload times based on previous similar moves to your own, while taking into account any differences. We use the number of men needed multiplied by the number of hours required to complete your move, plus the drive time results in your in your estimate range.
How is drive time calculated?
Our calculations are based on the mileage and times Google Maps tells us. Drive time is calculated as a round trip, on average around 800 miles, however if you qualify, our small moves program reduces the amount of drive time you are responsible for, making for a more affordable moving solution.
How do I know your estimates are accurate, and there will be no surprises in the end?
As a moving company that strives for superior expectation management, accuracy and clarity are paramount. After your walkthrough we will provide a “do-not-exceed” price point. We encourage you to compare estimates and proposals from at least 2-3 other companies, as it helps you understand the differences between companies.
What time do you guys pick up and deliver my stuff?
That will depend on all the surrounding circumstances, including elevator reservations, parking restrictions, location, and of course, your itinerary. Most customers drive to their new location and you need time to do so. Please share your travel plans with us so we can take your needs into account.
